St Canices Cathedral will hum with music and song on Wednesday 7th December when the 23rd annual Lions Club Schools Concert takes place commencing at 7.30pm.
Performing on the night will be:
- Church Hill Orchestra & Choir
- St John of God Choir
- Gaelscoil Choir and Banna Cheoil
- St Canices Co-Ed Recorder & Jazz Band
- Kilkenny College Choir & Jazz Band
This is the 23rd year the Lions Club has presented its Schools Concert in conjunction with the Kilkenny People and KCLR 96fm.
All proceeds go to the Spirit of Christmas Hamper & Charity Appeal to help the needy of Kilkenny City and County.
Admission is €10 for adults and €4 for children with a family of 4 for €24.There will be a number of prizes drawn from the door tickets.
